Starting July 1 five new girls and two boys from the Dalit caste are now able to go to school. Without the support of our friends and sponsors these children would never have had the chance to go to school!
From July 1 ANSHULA is also supporting five school children from the Sambhali Scholarship Project for whom no (more) sponsors were found.
For the new school year ANSHULA bought the compulsory schooluniforms, school bags and the necessary learning material for the 150 children from underprivileged families who are presently attending the private school in Shahpura. The school fees are paid in full by the Sudarshan Deo Trust, Shahpura.
Further, ANSHULA is assuming the school fees for Yashwini, a talented girl from a very poor family in Ajmer, at the renowned SOPHIA HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL.
At the Sambhali Sheerni Boarding Home, five girls did not have sponsors anymore for their further stay and education. Thanks to the generous support of the Othmar-Bamert Foundation for Streetchildren, Leela, Pooja, Priyanka, Sangeeta and Aasu do not have to worry about their immediate future anymore. Their onward stay in the Boarding Home, as well as the continuation of their school education has been secured for the next five years.
Gaurav und Abishek Rani received their second school report cards!
The two Dalit boys are making great progress and are a living proof that eagerness to learn and ability does not depend on caste.
In the name of all the children and their families we thank you for the trust you are putting into us and ANSHULA. All your donations are an important contribution to give the children a start into a better future.
